Trip Information

Servant Life partners with a local church about 30 minutes outside of Bozeman, MT who is ministering to their surrounding communities through evangelism, work projects, and church revitalization.

What will my team be doing? 

Ministry activities can vary from trip to trip, but teams can expect to be involved with work teams doing anything from deep cleaning, food prep, food distribution, yard work, painting, and more. Teams will also assist our partner with evangelism and outreach efforts including serving at community festivals and door-to-door evangelism.

What does a general weekly schedule look like?

Schedules can vary due to the needs of the community and our efforts there. Unless otherwise noted (rodeo teams especially), your schedule would consist of:

• Arrival day

• Worship day/prayer walk

• 3 work days

• Free day - Most teams take their free day to go to Yellowstone National Park.

• Departure day

What does my cost include?​

• Transportation is included in the trip cost. Our partners have vans that you can use but you will be responsible for the cost of fuel.

• Housing. Servant Life will assist you in securing lodging based on your ministry location which can include a selection of mission center housing, hotels, or Vacation Rental properties.

• Meals. Your team is responsible for all meals and other expenses related to the trip unless otherwise noted or arranged. (Example: Sometimes we have a cookout or block party that your team may be helping with. In that case, your team would be able to eat whatever we are serving.)

• T-Shirt. Every participant gets an awesome mission trip t-shirt.

• Pre-Trip Training Material. We provide training sessions, trip overview documents, assistance from our team of mission trip experts, and communication with in-country missionaries to make sure your group is fully prepared for your trip.

• Pre, During, and Post-trip Devotionals. This 4-week printed missions journal will help every team member grow and encounter Christ.

Airfare is not included in the trip cost, but will be taken care of by Servant Life's travel agent who gets humanitarian rates and often free baggage. You may book on your own if you prefer to do so, but we ask to approve the itinerary first.
