Servant Life partners with Heartbeats International, which is dedicated to spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the next generation, organizing large-scale outreach events, and empowering communities through discipleship and social transformation. What started as a simple vision became a reality with the first Heartbeats Festival in 2022, held at Cluj Arena, Romania, featuring speakers like John. C Maxwell and Christian artists such as Jeremy Camp and Planetshakers. Heartbeats has grown to become a powerful evangelistic force with events not only in Romania but also in South Korea, Brazil, and Kenya.
 

What will my team be doing? 

Your trip will start by engaging in the community through different cultural and tourist experiences, getting to know the area before you engage in pre-festival outreach events like street evangelism, and partnering with local churches to serve in the community.

Once the festival begins, short-term teams can engage in a variety of roles, including:

• Evangelism: Assisting in street evangelism, prayer, and altar calls.

• Logistics and Administration: Supporting event logistics, from setting up venues to distributing resources like free Bibles

• Discipleship: Connecting new believers with local churches, supporting post-event follow-up, and facilitating workshops.

• Prayer: Providing spiritual support through intercessory prayer for the vent, its participants, and the local communities.

What does a general weekly schedule look like?

• Friday. Travel Day. Depart from the US.

• Saturday. Travel day. Arrive and get settled into the hotel.

• Sunday. Worship with a local church. Orientation for the week of ministry ahead and a tourism day to explore the city, including museums, government buildings, etc.

• Monday - Wednesday. Pre-Festival Outreach and Community Engagement.

• Thursday - Saturday. Festival Ministry Days.

• Sunday. Travel day. Depart for home. Arrive home the same day.

What does my cost include?​​

• Housing. Your team will stay at a local hotel, guesthouse, or dormitory. Double Occupancy

• Meals. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day! (Note: You need to pay for your meals at the airport while traveling, etc.)

• T-Shirt. Every participant gets an awesome mission trip t-shirt.

• Supplemental Traveler's Insurance. In the event of a medical emergency, you'll be covered with an international policy!

• Pre-Trip Training Material. We provide training sessions, trip overview documents, assistance from our team of mission trip experts, and communication with in-country missionaries to make sure your group is fully prepared for your trip.

• Pre-, During, and Post-trip Devotionals. This 4-week printed missions journal will help every team member grow and encounter Christ.

• In-country transportation. From the moment you land at the airport until the moment you leave, we will take you everywhere during the week. You will not need to arrange your transportation, but teams should be prepared to do some walking as we navigate different villages and communities.
   

Airfare is not included in the trip cost but will be taken care of by Servant Life's travel agent, who gets humanitarian rates and often free baggage. You may book on your own if you prefer to do so, but we ask to approve the itinerary first.
