Trip Information

Servant Life partners with a Christian Children’s Home, School and Ranch about 60 minutes outside of Missoula, MT that provides a residential, year-round program aimed at providing a stable, controlled, secure environment in which young people can reach the potential that God has placed within them.

What will my team be doing? 

Ministry activities can vary from trip to trip, but teams can expect to be involved with work teams to help cut wood for the year, bundle plenty of hay, plant a big garden, clear out the woods, finish a new building, make repairs, and restore equipment. Participants also get to see the ranch and children’s home in action firsthand spending times with students focused on relational ministry. And we take them on excursions which might include horseback riding or hiking through Montana's natural beauty.

What does a general weekly schedule look like?

• Saturday. Travel day. Arrive and get settled in. 

• Sunday. Worship with a local church. After lunch, enjoy free time around the Ranch

• Monday - Wednesday. Primary ministry days. Work Projects Around Ranch

• Thursday. Free day. Groups can choose to visit Glacier National Park or one of the other tourist spots around Montana. Any free day activities will be your expense.

• Friday. Ministry day. Work Projects Around Ranch

• Saturday. Travel day. Fly out of Missoula or drive home.

What does my cost include?​

• Transportation is included in the trip cost, including airport pick-up and drop-off, plus Sunday church service. If your group prefers to have their own vehicles, vans can be rented at the airport for the week. If we can answer any additional questions please let us know. 

• Housing. Your team will be staying in a section of our ranch homes where beds, bedding, and bathrooms are provided.

• Meals. Meals will be provided with the exception of possible arrival/departure times outside of normal meal times and your free time day. Teams may be asked to help prepare and/or clean up from meals. 

• T-Shirt. Every participant gets an awesome mission trip t-shirt.

• Pre-Trip Training Material. We provide training sessions, trip overview documents, assistance from our team of mission trip experts, and communication with in-country missionaries to make sure your group is fully prepared for your trip.

• Pre, During, and Post-trip Devotionals. This 4-week printed missions journal will help every team member grow and encounter Christ.

Airfare is not included in the trip cost, but will be taken care of by Servant Life's travel agent who gets humanitarian rates and often free baggage. You may book on your own if you prefer to do so, but we ask to approve the itinerary first.
